ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The Husson University men's swimming & diving team opened the 2025 Eastern College Athletic Conference Open Championship on Friday by breaking two program records.
The Eagles 400-yard medley relay team of junior's
Ryan Emerson,
Brady Hand,
Sam Peiser and
Brayden Champlin broke the program record with a time of 3:35.31 and finished 12th, while Emerson broke the program record with a 53.75 in the 100-yard backstroke leading off the relay.
Additionally, the Eagles 200-yard freestyle relay team of Emerson, junior
Alex Walsh, Hand and Champlin finished 13th with a time of 1:27.54.
Husson returns to the pool on Saturday for day two of the ECAC championship.
