Worcester, Mass. – Senior Riley Mahoney set two program records, as the Husson University women's swimming & diving team turned in one of its most balanced performances of the season on Saturday at Clark University, picking up wins over Rhode Island College and Western New England University.

The Eagles defeated RIC 207-67 and bested WNE 147-123, while falling to the hosts of Clark by a score of 200-82.

Mahoney swept both boards winning the 1-meter event with a score of 231.75, which shattered the mark she set last weekend of 225.05, before returning to take the 3-meter title with 186.10, breaking her mark of 177.15 that she set last year, giving the Eagles a perfect day in women's diving.

The afternoon began with the 200 medley relay, where the A-team of freshman Emily Kennard, junior Logan Williams, freshman Abbey Donato, and sophomore Mariah Muskavitch finished fourth in 2:04.68.

In the 1000 freestyle, first-year standout Sara Harriman delivered a strong swim, finishing second in 11:57.22, pacing consistently throughout the race.

The Eagles continued to find success in the mid-distance events, highlighted by Kennard's fourth-place effort in the 200 freestyle (2:09.85). In the 50 backstroke, junior Olivia Underwood posted a 33.44 to finish fourth.

Williams led Husson in the 50 breaststroke with a fourth-place finish in 35.37 before Donato delivered one of the Eagles' strongest swims of the meet, placing third in the 200 butterfly in 2:40.70.

Husson showed major depth in the freestyle events as freshman Brooklyn Henderson finished fourth in the 50 free (27.09) and Kennard later returned to the podium in the 100 free, placing third in 59.99.

Harriman continued her impressive weekend in the 200 backstroke, taking third with a 2:25.20.

The Eagles also picked up a strong distance finish in the 500 freestyle behind junior Mia Winslow (6:20.19) who placed fourth, while later in the 200 IM, Underwood led Husson with a third-place finish in 2:37.11.

Husson capped the meet with a runner-up finish in the 400 freestyle relay, as Kennard, Henderson, Donato, and Harriman combined for a 4:01.59.

The Eagles now shift their attention to the State of Maine Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Championships, which take place on Dec. 5 and 6 at Colby College.
