BANGOR, Maine – The Husson University men's and women's swimming & diving programs have announced their 2025–26 schedule, featuring five home meets inside Webber Pool, a full slate of New England competition, and postseason appearances at both the State of Maine Championships and the Little East Conference Championships.
"This is the most competitive schedule we have had during my tenure," said men's and women's swimming & diving head coach Lauren Hoffman. "We are excited to compete against more teams within our conference and looking forward to the challenge of competing against non-conference teams."
The Eagles opened the season on Friday, October 17, by hosting the Fifth Annual Husson Relay Meet at 6 p.m. in Webber Pool. The non-scoring event has become a fall tradition in Bangor, setting the tone for the season with an energetic and team-focused start.
Husson remains at home this weekend, welcoming Saint Joseph's College of Maine on Saturday, October 25 at Noon for the first official scoring meet of the year.
The Eagles then hit the road for back-to-back weekends, visiting Norwich University on November 1 in Northfield, Vermont, and Eastern Connecticut State University on November 8 in Willimantic, Connecticut, before returning home to close the month.
A busy mid-November stretch sees Husson host Maine Maritime Academy and Keene State College in a double-dual meet on Saturday, November 15 at 6 p.m., followed by a trip to Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, on November 22.
The fall semester concludes with one of New England's premier meets, the State of Maine Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Championships, hosted by Colby College on December 5–6 in Waterville. The two-day championship will bring together top programs from across the state.
After the winter break, the Eagles dive back into action on Saturday, January 17, hosting Gordon College at 1 p.m. before visiting Maine Maritime Academy on January 24. The team then returns home for a double meet against Elms College and the University of Maine Club Team on January 31, marking the final home competition of the regular season.
The postseason begins with the Little East Conference Championships, hosted by the Boston Sports Institute in Wellesley, Massachusetts, from February 12–15. The four-day championship meet will feature some of the top Division III swimmers and divers in the region.
