Cote sits in fourth place after day one of the women's Camp Lejeune Championship

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. - The Husson University women's golf currently sits in sixth place overall after day one of the 2023 Camp Lejeune Collegiate Championship with a team card of 384.

Bridgewater College currently sits atop of the team leaderboard with a team score card of 320, followed by Pfeiifer University (329) and Averett University (333).

Leading the way for Husson on Friday was sophomore Lindsay Cote. Cote is in fourth place at the event after carding a 8-over 79 in the first round. She is currently six shots behind Sophia Martone of Bridgewater College, who is atop of the leaderboard after shooting a 2-over 73 on the day.

Freshman Caitlyn Chabot and freshman Allie Weinert are currently in 21st and 22nd place after recording rounds of 98 and 99, respectively.

Freshman Sydney Devine sits in 28th place after finishing round one with a 108.

The Eagles return to action tomorrow for day two of the 2023 Camp Lejeune Collegiate Championships. Husson is scheduled to tee off begin at 8 a.m.
