WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- The Husson University women's golf team finished in sixth place after carding a 398 team card in the final round of the 2023 Ruckus tournament held at the Williamsburg National Golf Club's Jamestown Course.
The Eagles finished with a 36-hole score of 803 (405-398). Adrian College won the event with a team score of 639 (319-320).
Leading the way for Husson was sophomore
Lindsay Cote, who tied for sixth out of 33 total competitors. Cote fired an 85 in the second round for a two-day total of 169 on the 5,498-yard course.
Freshman
Allie Weinert tied for 24th with a cumulative score of 193 after shooting a 96 on the final day.
Freshman
Caitlyn Chabot (203, 106-99) and senior
Sydney Devine (236, 118-118) placed 30th and 32nd, respectively.
The Eagles return to the links on March 31st for the first round of the Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate Golf Tournament at the Paradise Point Golf Course in Jacksonville, N.C.
