WILLIMANTIC, Conn. - The Husson University women's swimming & diving team fell to Eastern Connecticut State University, 186-73, on Saturday morning inside the Sports Center Pool on the campus of Eastern Connecticut State University.
Husson opened the meet with a third-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay. The team of junior

Mia Winslow swam a time of 2:06.29.
Sophomore
Maggie Poulin and junior
Kat Christensen finished fourth and fifth in the 1000-yard freestyle with times of 13:20.12 and 14:51.23.
Hand dominated the 200-yard freestyle winning the event by seven seconds with a 2:08.01. Freshman
Isabella Cost finished fifth in the event at 2:32.65.
In the 100-yard backstroke, Madden and graduate student
Hannah Soutter finished third and fourth after hitting the wall in 1:09.85 and 1:14.95.
Winslow swam a 1:30.15 in the 100-yard breaststroke to finish fourth in the event before Payson earned Husson's second victory of meet when see hit the wall first in the 200-yard butterfly with a 2:22.93.
Freshman
Mackenzie Gray (30.28), Soutter (30.57) and Cost (31.84) all finished fourth, fifth and sixth in the 50-yard freestyle.
Winslow (1:05.26) and Cost (1:11.79) placed fourth and fifth in the 100-yard freestyle, prior to Hand capturing her second win of the meet. Hand won the 200-yard backstroke in school record fashion of 2:14.87 and Soutter finished fourth in the event with a 2:44.13.
Madden won the Eagles final event of the meet, winning the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:52.87. Gray placed fifth in the event with a time of 3:19.02.
Poulin and Christensen once again finished fourth and fifth, this time in the 500-yard freestyle. Poulin swam a time of 6:34.61 and Christensen completed the race in 7:20.80.
In the 100-yard butterfly, Payson took runner-up honors with a 1:03.95. Winslow (2:44.23) and Gray (2:54.95) earned a third and fifth place finishes in the 200-yard individual medley.
The group of Payson, Soutter, Madden and Hand closed out the meet with a second-place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 4:08.46 and Christensen, Cost, Poulin and Gray finished fifth after swimming a 4:49.03.
The Eagles will return to action on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 12 p.m. when they take on Gordon College in a dual meet inside Webber Pool.
