Box Score WATERVILLE, Maine - The Husson University women's tennis team continued their undefeated start to the season thanks to a thrilling 5-4 victory over Thomas College in non-conference action at North Street Recreation Center on Wednesday afternoon. 

It was the Terriers (1-4) that led after the three doubles matches as senior Emily Tilton and sophomore Hannah Duley won the third only doubles match, 8-6, for the Eagles (4-0). 

The Terriers would win the third singles set before the Eagles would battle back as senior Molly Chicoine won the fourth singles set in two sets, 6-0, 7-6 (7-5). Senior Hannah Malinen recorded a three set victory in the first singles match, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3, to tie the match at three. After losing the second singles set, sophomore Lexi Thompson even the match again after victory in the fifth singles set, 6-3, 6-3. With the match on the line, senior Nicci Munroe won the fourth singles match in straight sets (7-6 (7-5), 6-4) to give the Eagles the victory.

The non-conference stretch continues for the women's tennis team as they travel to Lesley University on Sunday with the match scheduled to start at noon.
