BANGOR, Maine - The Husson University women's swimming & diving team began the new year with a 172-94 victory over Gordon College on Saturday morning in Webber Pool.
THE RUNDOWN:
- Sophomore Kayla Payson, sophomore Adelaide Ross, senior Maddie Wing, and senior Ivana Radovanovic won the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:07.74.
- Junior Abby Ketch, senior Ava Emery, junior Abbie Howe, and first-year Erin Madden took second in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:08.83.
- Junior Sydney Jordan, junior Jillian Clapp, junior Hannah Soutter, and sophomore Isabella Viles placed fourth in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:16.65.
- Junior Emily Grinnell won the 1000 Free (13:00.41) and finished third in the 100 Breast (1:21.34).
- Sophomore Kerrigan Smith finished third in the 1000 Free (13:33.72) and second in the 100 Free (1:03.97).
- Senior Erin Aucoin won the 200 Free (2:14.46) and swam exhibition in the 100 IM (1:12.09).
- Clapp placed second in the 200 Free (2:17.42), and the 500 Free (6:22.26).
- Ketch finished third in the 200 Free (2:18.81) and swam exhibition in the 50 Fly (31.46).
- Howe won the 50 Back (31.64), and the 100 Back (1:10.05).
- Ross finished second in the 50 Back (34.13) and swam exhibition in 50 Fly (31.70).
- Jordan was third in the 50 Back (34.26) and second in the 100 Back (1:14.90).
- Emery placed second in the 50 Breast (36.26) and won the 100 Breast (1:19.36).
- Madden finished third in the 50 Breast (36.61).
- Radovanovic was fifth in the 50 Breast (42.42) and swam exhibition in the 50 Fly (35.72), and the 100 IM (1:19.87).
- Payson won the 200 Fly with a new school record time of 2:24.24, and the 500 Free (5:45.17).
- Wing won the 50 Free (27.56), and the 100 Free (1:01.55).
- Viles placed third in the 50 Free (31.25) and fifth in the 100 Free (1:12.23).
- Sophomore Shelby Peterson won the five-dive one-meter optionals with 126.65 points and the six-dive round with a total of 159.25 points.
- Soutter finished third in the 100 Back (1:15.11) and swam exhibition in the 100 IM (1:16.93)
- Madden, Clapp, Grinnell, Howe won the 200 Free Relay with a time of 1:54.48.
- Smith, Ketch, Jordan, and Ross swam in an exhibition 200 Free Relay and finished with a time of 1:56.01.
