WATERVILLE, Maine - The Husson (4-2) women's tennis team suffered a tough road loss at Colby College (1-0) on Wednesday afternoon. It was a struggle to score all afternoon, as the Eagles were unable to come away with a victory, and fell to Colby by a final score of 9-0.

In doubles play, the Eagles' struggled to win sets. The pairing of Hannah Malinen/Emily Doten were defeated 8-1, while the pairings of Nicci Munroe/Molly Chicoine and Lexi Thompson/Marisa Brown were both defeated 8-0.

Singles play wasn't much easier for Husson, as only nobody was able to score. Malinen, Doten, Munroe, Chicoine, Brown, and Thompson all swept in their singles matches. 

This weekend it is back to North Atlantic Conference play for the Eagles as they travel to Vermont for a back-to-back with the Northern Vermont schools. First up is NVU-Lyndon at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 25th.
