PORTLAND, Maine - The Husson University women's tennis team captured their third-straight North Atlantic Conference (NAC) after sweeping Northern Vermont University-Johnson, 5-0, in the NAC East Division Championship. 

Jumping out ahead of the Badgers with a 3-0 lead after doubles action, the pairs of Hannah Malinen and Natalie Tilton overpowered Mason Lores and Rebecca Simon in #1 doubles, 8-4. Nicci Munroe and Molly Chicoine followed up with an 8-0 triumph over Kayla Hammond and Nicole Mooney. Then the team of Marisa Brown and Jocelyn Bell picked up an 8-1 victory against Annika Dyhrberg and Mia Blackwell to help clinch the 3-0 sweep for Husson in doubles competition.

Securing the 5-0 win for the Eagles was a 6-0, 6-2 win in #2 singles action by Malinen along with a 6-4, 6-2 take down in #3 singles by Husson's Julia O'Leary. 

With the victory, the Husson women's tennis squad wrapped up their abbreviated season with an undefeated 3-0 overall record.
