BANGOR, Maine - The Husson University women's swimming & diving team drops first dual meet of the season to Norwich University by a score of 149-143 in Webber Pool on Sunday afternoon.
Husson recognized three seniors prior to the meet for their accomplishments with the Husson University women's swimming & diving program: Ashleigh Beaudoin, Kelsey Poland and Phoebe Fleck.
THE RUNDOWN:
- The quartet of Ellie Clarke, Ava Emery, Maddie Wing and Abby Ketch combined to finish second in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:03.77.
- The group of Abbie Howe, Emily Grinnell, Hannah Soutter and Morgan Veilleux placed third in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:06.33.
- Sydney Jordan, Kayla Redman, Ivana Radovanovic and Poland finished fourth in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:16.59.
- Erin Aucoin finished second in the 1000 Free (12:03.78) and won the 500 Free (5:50.21).
- Wing placed second in the 200 Free (2:11.92) and the 100 Free (59.50).
- Soutter took third in the 200 Free (2:16.15), fourth in the 50 Fly (31.78), and second in the 200 IM (2:39.41).
- Ketch was fifth in the 200 Free (2:19.90) and the 100 Free (1:02.34), and second in the 50 Free (27.68).
- Clarke won the 50 Back (29.63), the 50 Free (26.81), and the 100 Back with a new school record time of 1:03.65.
- Howe finished third in the 50 Back (31.90) and the 100 Back (1:09.51).
- Jordan was fifth in the 50 Back (34.45) and the 100 Back (1:14.00).
- Grinnell won the 50 Breast (37.34) and placed second in the 100 Breast (1:21.19).
- Redman placed second in the 50 Breast (37.35) and third in the 100 Breast (1:23.15).
- Poland took third in the 50 Breast (42.30) and fourth in the 100 Breast (1:35.01).
- Emery finished second in the 100 Fly (1:07.31) and the 50 Fly (29.79), and third in the 200 IM (2:39.41).
- Radovanovic was fourth in the 100 Fly (1:18.18) and the 200 IM (2:45.88), and fifth in the 50 Fly (33.40).
- Veilleux placed third in the 50 Free (28.02) and the 100 Free (1:00.97).
- Beaudoin swam exhibition in the 50 Free (32.12) and placed fifth in the 500 Free (7:06.35).
- Alyssa Patterson finished third in the 1-meter diving (five dive program) with a score of 99.05 and fourth in the 1-meter diving (six dive program) with a score of 106.75.
- Fleck was sixth in the 500 Free (7:19.51).
- Wing, Redman, Vielleux and Aucoin won the 200 Free Relay with a time of 1:49.22.
- Grinnell, Jordan, Poland and Beaudoin swam together to finish third in the 200 Free Relay with a time of 2:00.59.
