BANGOR, Maine - The Husson University women's swimming & diving team defeated Maine Maritime Academy, 153-60, at Webber Pool on Friday evening to extend their season opener dual meet winning streak to four.
THE RUNDOWN:
- The quartet of Ellie Clarke, Kayla Redman, Hannah Soutter and Maddie Wing combined to win the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:04.65.
- The group of Abbie Howe, Emily Grinnell, Ivana Radovanovic and Morgan Veilleux finished in second place in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:10.80.
- Syd Jordan, Grace Emig, Jillian Clapp, Kelsey Poland swam together for a third place finish in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:18.90.
- Erin Aucoin won the 200 Free (2:07.49) and swam exhibition in the 500 Free (5:49.15).
- Abby Ketch took second in the 200 Free (2:16.57), won the 100 Free (1:01.01) and swam exhibition in the 100 IM (1:12.18).
- Ashleigh Beaudoin finished fifth in the 200 Free (2:41.80) and swam exhibition in the 500 Free (7:30.76).
- Clarke won the 50 Back (29.44), and the 100 Back in a new school record time of 1:04.18, while leading off the 200 Medley Relay with a new school record time of 29.40 in the 50 Back. The previous 50 Back record stood for 15 years.
- Howe placed second in the 50 Back (32.92), and the 100 Back (1:12.78).
- Jordan was third in the 50 Back (35.60), and the 100 Back (1:17.25).
- Phoebe Fleck swam exhibition in the 50 Back (38.80).
- Grinnell won the 50 Breast (37.72), the 100 Breast (1:22.41) and took second in the 100 IM (1:15.22).
- Emig took third in the 50 Breast (42.16) and swam exhibition in the 100 Breast (1:34.41).
- Soutter won the 100 Fly (1:09.17) and swam exhibition in the 50 Fly (31.05).
- Radovanovic was third in the 100 Fly (1:17.08) and swam exhibition in the 50 Fly (32.96).
- Wing won the 50 Free (26.92), the 100 IM, and swam exhibition in the 50 Fly (30.36).
- Veilleux placed second in the 50 Free (28.15), and the 100 Free (1:02.67).
- Redman finished third in the 50 Free (28.55), and second in the 100 Breast (1:26.45).
- Kelsey Poland was third in the 100 Free (1:10.78).
- Clapp swam exhibition in the 500 Free (6:29.25).
- Alyssa Patterson dove exhibition in the 1-meter diving (six dive program) with a score of 149.10.
- Aucoin, Redman, Veilleux, Clapp won the 200 Free Relay with a time of 1:52.44.
- Clarke, Soutter, Radovanovic, Jordan swam as an exhibition 200 Free Relay with a time of 1:54.86.
- Poland, Beaudoin, Howe and Emig swam as an exhibition 200 Free Relay with a time of 2:05.84.
