BANGOR, Maine - The Husson University women's swimming & diving team topped both Rhode Island College (148-92) and Maine Maritime Academy (174-39) in a double-dual meet Friday night at the Webber Pool.
Husson recognized three seniors prior to the meet for their accomplishments with the Husson University women's swimming & diving program: Sarah Wilson, Lara Sarett, and Ashley Clark.
THE RUNDOWN:
- The quartet of Heidi Demers, Kassidy Harris, Sarett, Megan Johnston combined to win the 200 Medley with a time of 2:12.21.
- Ashleigh Beaudoin placed third in the 1000 Free (14:47.27) and in the 500 Free (7:13.00).
- Kassidy Harris won the 200 Free (2:22.92) and took second in the 50 Fly (35.52) and placed fourth in the 100 IM (1:17.49).
- Zoe Mather finished third in the 200 Free (2:45.51) and the 50 Fly (35.98), and placed second in the 100 Fly (1:31.60).
- Wilson was fifth in the 200 Free (2:56.25), swam exhibition in the 50 Free (37.25) and sixth in 100 Free (1:22.97).
- Sarett won the 50 Back (31.94), 50 Free (27.47) and the 100 Back (1:10.45).
- Natalie Champagne took fourth in the 50 Back (42.29), fifth in the 100 Back (1:30.80).
- Heidi Demers won the 50 Breast (35.53) and took second in the 100 Breast (1:20.60) and in the 100 IM (1:14.34).
- Kelsey Poland was third in the 50 Breast (41.52), fourth in 100 Breast (1:33.07).
- Clark finished fourth in the 50 Free (29.90), won the 100 Free (1:05.00) and placed third in the 100 IM (1:14.93).
- Olivia Maynard was fifth in the 50 Free (31.97), second in the 100 Free (1:12.87).
- Megan Johnston finished fourth in the 100 Back (1:20.02) and the 50 Fly (36.64).
- Phoebe Fleck took second in the 500 Free (7:07.96).
- Johnston, Fleck, Clark and Maynard combined to win the 200 Free Relay (2:07.77).

The Eagles will return to action on Sunday, January 14th when they travel to Saint Joseph's (Maine) for a double-dual meet with the Monks and the University of New England.
