WATERVILLE, Maine - Husson unfortunately fell to Colby College 9-0 in a non-conference matchup on Thursday, April 6th on the road. 

Colby's (7-3) Lydia Venditti defeated Katie Pratt 6-0, 6-0 on the one-line while Husson's (8-4) Sarah Smith was defeated by Gabriella Venditti, 6-1, 6-0 in No. 2 singles. The Eagle's Kelsey Pelletier lost to Maddie Lupone on the three-line 6-0 and 6-0. Mules' Aleks Piibe defeated Marisa Brown in No. 4 singles 6-1 and 6-1 and Husson's Samantha Dubay fell to Jamie Pine in No. 5 singles 6-0 and 6-0. On the six-line, Eagles' Jocelyn Bell dropped to Hania Lenderking 7-5 and 6-1.

In doubles action, Mules' Lydia Venditti and Gabriela Venditti defeated Pratt and Smith 8-0. Pelletier and Brown for Husson fell to Lupone and Pine on the two-line 8-0. Eagles' Bell and Dubay dropped to Piibe and Emily Dyckman 8-0.

This meet concluded Husson women's tennis record breaking 2016-17 season.
