STANDISH, Maine - The Husson University women's swimming & diving team finished their dual meet portion of their 2016-17 schedule on Saturday morning with two dual meet loses to Saint Joseph's (Maine) and Gordon. The Monks defeated the Eagles by a score of 136-111, while falling to the Fighting Scots by a 144-111 margin.
THE RUNDOWN:
- The quartet of Leslie Donlin, Kassidy Harris, Lara Sarett, and Keeli Wood combined to finish 2nd in the 200 Medley Relay with a 2:05.33.
- Amber Britton, Lizzy Small Megan Johnston and Kelsey Poland swam together and finished 5th in the 200 Medley Relay (2:24.08)
- Ashley Clark took 2nd in the 1650 Free (20:57.22), 4th in the 100 Fly (1:16.34) and 5th in the 50 Fly (33.38)
- Ashleigh Beaudoin was 4th in the 1650 Free (24:58.96) and 5th in the 500 Free (7:24.54)
- Gabrielle Peabody finished 5th in the 200 Free (2:25.16), 5th in the 50 Free (29.49) and 6th in the 100 Free (1:05.84).
- Zoe Mather placed 7th in the 200 Free (2:44.20) and swam exhibition in the 50 Fly (35.77)
- Sarah Wilson was 8th in the 200 Free (2:58.19) and 6th in the 500 Free (7:57.99)
- Alexis Lower swam exhibition in the 200 Free (3:49.13), the 50 Free (51.73) and the 100 Free (1:47.80).
- Donlin took 3rd in the 50 Back (33.32) and 6th in the 50 Fly (34.16)
- Johnston placed 6th in the 50 Back (36.81), 8th in the 100 Back (1:19.11)
- Madison Cole was 7th in the 50 Back (38.28) and swam exhibition in the 100 Back (1:16.64).
- Natalie Champagne swam exhibition in the 50 Back (39.71), the 100 Free (1:16.31) and the 50 Fly (41.67)
- Wood won the 50 Breast (35.81) and took 2nd in the 100 Breast (1:18.56)
- Kassidy Harris finished 4th in the 50 Breast (36.71), 5th in the 100 Back (1:18.11)
- Poland was 8th in the 50 Breast (41.74) and 7th in the 100 Breast (1:33.10)
- Sarett won the 100 Fly (1:04.31), the 100 Breast (1:10.53) and the 200 IM (2:23.41).
- Small placed 5th in the 100 Fly (1:17.92), the 200 IM (2:45.10) and 4th in the 100 Back (1:17.93).
- Britton took 7th in the 50 Free (30.20), 5th in the 100 Free (1:04.91) and 4th in the 50 Fly (32.88)
- Amanda Marcus was 8th in the 50 Free (33.99) and the 100 Free (1:15.96).
- Donlin, Clark, Peabody, and Wood swam together to post a 3rd place finish in the 400 Free Relay (4:17.03).
- The quartet of Poland, Cole, Marcus and Mather finished 6th in the 400 Free Relay with a time of 5:00.19.
Husson returns to the pool in a few weeks when they travel to the University of Rhode Island for the NEISDA Championship from Thursday, February 16th to Sunday, February 19th.
