Women's Swimming & Diving Splits Home Opener with Saint Joseph's and Maine Maritime

BANGOR, Maine - The Husson University women's swimming & diving team fell to Saint Joseph's (Maine) by a score of 139-117 and picked up a victory over Maine Maritime, 195-32, at Webber Pool on Saturday afternoon.

THE RUNDOWN:

The quartet of Heidi Demers, Lara Sarett and Ashley Clark and Leslie Paige combined to win the 200 Medley with a time of 2:07.10.
Phoebe Fleck took 2nd in the 1000 Free (14:58.35), 5th in the 100 Back (1:25.53) and swam exhibition in the 100 IM (1:28.52).
Ashleigh Beaudoin was 3rd in the 1000 Free (16:30.10), 4th in the 50 Back (45.79) and in the 500 Free (8:07.50).
Clark placed 2nd in the 200 Free (2:20.66), won the 500 Free (6:16.96), and took 3rd in the 100 IM (1:16.34).
Demers finished 3rd in the 200 Free (2:24.29), 2nd in the 50 Free (28.75), and 3rd in the 100 Back (1:15.89).
Angela Poulin was 7th in the 200 Free (3:52.14), 8th in the 50 Breast (1:10.76).
Megan Johnston took 2nd in the in the 50 Back (37.80), 4th in the 100 Back (1:20.94) and in the 50 Fly (37.62).
Natalie Champagne placed third in the 50 Back (42.23), 4th in the 100 Fly (1:3.73), and 6th in the 100 Free (1:20.57).
Kassidy Harris finished 2nd in the 50 Breast (35.77), 3rd in the 100 Breast (1:19.61), and 2nd in the 50 Fly (35.07).
Kelsey Poland was 7th in the 50 Breast (42.61), 8th in the 100 Breast (1:35.74).
Zoe Mather finished 3rd in the 100 Fly (1:30.56) and in the 50 Fly (36.83).
Paige placed 6th in the 50 Free (30.10), 5th in the 100 Free (1:07.91).
Olivia Maynard was 7th in the 50 Free (31.79).
Natalie Bunton swam exhibition in the 50 Free (39.13).
Sarett won the 100 Free (58.31), the 100 Breast (1:11.30) and the 100 IM (1:06.64).
Harris, Maynard, Paige and Johnston swam together to finish 2nd in the 200 Free Relay (1:57.13).
The quartet Bunton, Poland, Poulin, and Mather finished 3rd in the 200 Free Relay with a time of 2:08.15.
