WATERVILLE, Maine - Husson lost to Colby College 9-0 in a non-conference matchup on Saturday at Alfond-Wales Tennis Courts.

Colby's (10-3) Maddie Lupone defeated Meridith Blessard 6-0, 6-0 on the one-line and Katie Pratt was defeated by Holly Bogo, 6-0, 6-0 in No. 2 singles.  Charlotte Bednarz lost to Jamie Pine on the three-line 6-0 and 6-0. Katie Ryan defeated Sarah Smith in No. 4 singles 6-0 and 6-0.  Kelsey Pelletier lost to Olivia Stein in No. 5 singles 6-1 and 6-1. Elizabeth Adley lost to Annie Morris on the six-line 6-0 and 7-5.

Lydia Venditti and Gabriela Venditti defeated Blessard and Pratt in doubles action 8-0. Bednarz and Smith lost to Bogo and Pine on the two-line 8-2. Adley and Pelletier lost to Lupone and Aleks Piibe 8-0.

This will conclude the inaugural season for the Husson (7-4) women's tennis team.
