BANGOR, Maine - The Husson University Women's swimming & diving defeated Norwich University, 157-116 at the Webber Pool on Thursday afternoon for a program record third straight dual-meet win.
THE RUNDOWN:
- The quartet of Kassidy Harris, Lara Sarett, Ashley Clark and Gabrielle Peabody combined to win the 200 medley relay with a 2:11.02.
- Amber Britton, Megan Johnston, Natalie Champagne and Madison Cole swam to finish 3rd in the 200 medley relay with a time of 2:32.44.
- Katrina Aman took 2nd in the 1000 free (14:53.12), and 4th in the 100 breast (1:36.26).
- Alexis Lower placed 3rd in the 1000 free (20:52.70), and swam exhibition in the 100 free (1:44.23).
- Peabody was 3rd in the 200 free (2:31.12), and 2nd in the 500 free (7:13.08).
- Macy Mansir finished 4th in the 200 free (2:38.36), and 3rd in the 500 free (7:15.85).
- Rachael Wheeler was 5th in the 200 free (2:40.21), the 50 free (31.74), and 3rd in the 100 free (1:10.12).
- Johnston won the 50 back (35.57), the 100 back (1:14.93) and took 3rd in the 50 free (30.56).
- Cole took 4th in the 50 back (40.94), and 5th in the 100 free (1:20.47).
- Sarett won the 50 breast (32.76), the 50 fly with a new school record of 27.92, and the 100 IM (1:07.48).
- Harris finished 2nd in the 50 breast (38.52), and won the 100 breast (1:22.42).
- Clark won the 100 fly (1:14.31), and finished 3rd in the 50 fly.
- Zoe Mather placed 3rd in the 100 fly (1:32.29), the 100 breast (1:35.13), and the 100 IM (1:28.17).
- Champagne was 5th in the 100 fly (1:39.49) and the 50 fly (42.24).
- Britton won the 50 free (29.59), and the 100 free (1:07.26).
- Sarah Wilson swam exhibition in 50 free (37.26), and the 100 free (1:25.90).
- Brittany Gaudet swam exhibition in 50 free (38.23), and the 100 free (1:29.17).
- Harris, Britton, Clark and Peabody swam together to win the 200 free relay with a time of 2:00.31.
- The quartet of Wheeler, Aman, Mansir and Mather finished 3rd in the 200 free relay with a time of 2:09.86.
- The group of Cole, Champagne, Wilson and Gaudet placed 4th in the 200 free relay with a time of 2:31.58.
The Eagles will return to the pool tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. when they swam Rhode Island College on the campus of Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I.
