BANGOR, Maine - The Husson University Women's swimming & diving hosted a dual meet with the University of New England at Webber Pool on Saturday night. The Nor'easters won the meet 166-88 for their 13th-consecutive victory over the Eagles.
THE RUNDOWN:
- The quartet of Kassidy Harris, Lara Sarett, Ashley Clark and Amber Britton combined to finish third in the 200-Medley relay with a time of 2:09.60.
- Katrina Aman placed third in the 1000-Free (14:31.04), and fifth in the 500-Free (6:55.77).
- Rachael Wheeler took fourth in the 1000-Free (15:58.50), swam exhibition in the 50-Free (33.34), and took 5th in the 500-Free (7:42.37).
- Alexis Lower was fifth in the 1000-Free (20:01.86), and sixth in the 500-Free (9:44.24).
- Clark finished third in the 200-Free (2:20.58), 200-Back (2:44.22), and 2nd in the 100-IM (1:14.68).
- Gabrielle Peabody placed fourth in the 200-Free (2:27.52), 50-Free (29.82), and 100-Free (1:06.32)
- Macy Mansir was sixth in the 200-Free (2:38.10), and 200-Breast (3:46.76).
- Megan Johnston took fourth in the 100-Back (1:20.51), fifth in the 200-Back (2:53.24), and third in the 100-IM (1:25.06).
- Natalie Champagne finished fifth in the 100-Back (1:27.93), sixth in the 100-Free (1:21.12), and fifth in the 100-Fly (1:42.66).
- Carrie O'Bar was sixth in the 100-Back (1:31.13), and 200-Back (3:15.68).
- Sarett won the 50-Breast (33.47), 200-Breast (2:41.03), and 100-IM (1:07.68).
- Harris placed fourth in the 50-Breast (37.27), and 200 Breast (2:59.73).
- Zoe Mather took sixth in the 50-Breast (46.78), and fourth in the 100-Fly (1:32.89).
- Britton finished second in the 50-Free (29.19), and fifth in the 100-Free (1:06.95).
- Brittany Gaudet placed sixth in the 50-Free (38.21), and swam exhibition in the 100-Free (1:27.61).
- Sarah Wilson swam exhibition in the 50-Free (40.34), and the 100-Free (1:32.61).
- Valeria Vallejo swam exhibition in the 50-Free (40.67), and the 100-Free (1:39.23).
- Harris, Peabody, Aman, and Britton swam together to win the 200-Free relay (2:01.14).
- Mansir, Mather, Wheeler, Champagne swam together to post a second-place finish in the 200-Free relay (2:17.99).
The Eagles will return to the pool on Saturday, November 21st when they travel to Saint Joseph's College (Maine) for a 1:00 p.m. tri-meet with Division II Merrimack College.
