Wadleigh Academic Center

The Wadleigh Academic Center was built in 2015 through a generous donation from Husson alumnus and the former president and chief executive officer of Governor’s Restaurant, Randy Wadleigh '87, and his wife, Angela.

The center is located in the Newman Athletic Facility, immediately adjacent to the lobby, and was designed to help student-athletes better prepare for academic success. It has a comfortable adaptable design that encourages student collaboration and learning.

Wadleigh is a 1987 graduate of Husson University where he majored in business administration. He was also a member of the Husson men’s basketball team and understood, first-hand, the challenges that student-athletes experience in trying to strike a balance between athletics and academics. In 1999, Wadleigh was inducted into the Husson Sports Hall of Fame.
