D. Bruce MacGregor Sports Hall of Fame Room
The D. Bruce MacGregor Sports Hall of Fame Room was established in 1998 by the support of Warren Caruso ‘89, ‘03 and his wife, Nicole. It is home to the Husson Sports Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame Room is named after former Sports Hall of Fame Committee Chairman, Bruce MacGregor, who is also a 1998 inductee. Coach MacGregor was a storied men’s basketball, baseball and men’s golf coach at Husson who amassed over 1,000 career wins.
Newly renovated in 2012, the room reopened over Husson’s homecoming weekend in October. The Hall of Fame Room is used for athletic receptions, press conferences, and additional events and meetings.
The Husson University Sports Hall of Fame was established in 1985 to honor outstanding student-athletes, athletic administrators, coaches, and teams for their athletic performances, leadership, and contributions to their programs while at Husson University, Husson College, Bangor Maine School of Commerce, Maine School of Commerce - Bangor Branch and Shaw Business School.
