Joliat, Glisson, Jackson, Dostal and Kashian Garner All-Conference Honors

WATERVILLE, Maine - Husson junior Lindsey Joliat, junior Julia Glisson and freshmen Isabelle Jackson and Renee Dostal all garnered All-Conference honors by virtue of their top-15 finishes in the 2018  North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women's Cross Country Championship, which was held at Troy Howard Middle School in Belfast, hosted by Maine Maritime Academy, on Sunday, October 28th. Freshman Erin Kashian garnered NAC All-Sportsmanship Team honors to round out the program's most All-Conference selections in six years.

Joliat claimed All-NAC First Team honors, after earning Second Team accolades last season, with a runner-up finish after a 20:49 effort in the 5K on the Troy Howard Middle School course. This marked the first time since 2014 that the Eagles have seen a runner earn individual runner-up honors.

Glisson placed sixth in her first season as a member of the Husson women's cross country team to earn her an All-Conference First Team affirmation after posting a 21:30 time in the 2018 title race.

Jackson became the fourth rookie in program history and the first since 2012 to earn All-Conference First Team honors after finishing in 7th place with a time of 21:52.

Dostal collected her first All-Conference award, a Second Team selection, after finishing 15th with a 23:34 effort in the 2018 championship event.

Head Coach Kate Goupee picked Kashian for the NAC All-Sportsmanship team because she had positively affected the sport culture and environment, and her behavior clearly demonstrates sportsmanship and integrity.

The women posted their best finish in the 2018 NAC Championship race since 2014 taking home second place. Husson finished just five points away from UMaine-Farmington capturing the title.

The Eagles will compete at the NCAA DIII Northeast Regional Championship hosted by Bowdoin College on Saturday, November 10th.
