Women's Cross Country Has Strong Showing at James Earley Invitational

Westfield, Mass. - The Husson women's cross country team competed in their biggest meet of the year so far, finishing 31st out of 41 teams at the 21st James Earley Invitational at Stanley Park in Westfield, Mass.

Heidi Ntengeri was the top finisher for the Eagles. She completed the 6K course in 25:06 good enough for 128th. She was followed by Morgan Clifford in 25:40 (181st) and Lindsey Joliat in 26:22 (238th). Samantha Martin and Shannon Bunce finished out the scoring for Husson crossing the line in 280th and 305th with times of 27:02 and 27:23.

Other Eagles who competed were Kelly Kashian who finished in 307th with a 27:24 and Stephanie Adamczyk placed 372nd with a 28:57.

The team will be back in action next Saturday at the RSEQ AUS Interlock Meet at University of New Brunswick at Fredericton in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada.
