DeBeck Named Head Volleyball Coach

BANGOR, Maine – The Husson University Department of Athletics announces the appointment of Pat DeBeck for his second stint at the helm of the Husson volleyball program.

"We are excited to have Pat take the reins of our volleyball program," remarks Director of Athletics Frank Pergolizzi. "His experience in both coaching and recruiting will enable our program to continue to grow and develop."

DeBeck served as the Interim Head Coach for the Fall 2018 season, leading the Eagles into the North Atlantic Conference tournament as the #4 seed. His team posted a 5-18 overall record with a 2-3 NAC record. He saw three players garner All-Conference honors.

"Thank you for the opportunity to be back here at Husson and given the responsibility of guiding this volleyball program," reflects Coach DeBeck. "I have a deep respect for this program and what it represents to the student-athletes because it means that much to me."

Coach DeBeck is the winningest (198-159) and most successful (.555) coach in program history. He will begin his 15th season at the helm of the Husson women's volleyball program and his 16th year on the coaching staff in the Fall of 2019.

"I am eager to show what Husson volleyball is capable of doing," DeBeck added.
