Hembrow, Beatty & Doten Claim All-Conference Selections

WATERVILLE, Maine - The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women's Volleyball postseason honors have been released and Husson University features three players earning accolades.

Junior setter Hanna Hembrow and freshman libero Adrienne Beatty have collected Second Team All-Conference acclaims, while sophomore middle blocker Kayli Doten earned a spot on the NAC All-Sportsmanship Team.

Hembrow, a 2016 First Team selection, claimed her second career All-NAC recognition after tallying 42 kills, 418 assists, 48 aces, 202 digs, and 26 total blocks during her junior campaign. She established career-highs in solos blocks (14), block assists (12), assists per set (5.57), aces per set (0.64), digs per set (2.69) and blocks per set (0.35) this fall. This season, she also became the fourth setter in program history to record 1,000 career assists. In 80 career matches (253 sets), Hembrow has recorded 176 kills, 1,304 assists, 137 aces, 578 digs, 65 total blocks (26 solos, 39 assists), and 358.5 points.

Beatty earns her first career All-Conference honor after posting 293 digs and 25 aces in 27 matches (75 sets) in her first year as an Eagle. She tied the single-game school record for most digs in a four-set match at Saint Joseph's (Maine) on September 29th recording a whopping 29.

Interim Head Coach Pat DeBeck nominated Doten for the NAC All-Sportsmanship team because she positively affected the volleyball culture and environment, and her behavior clearly demonstrates sportsmanship and integrity.

The Eagles will be looking to advance to the program's first NAC Championship final since the 2010 season when they take on #1 seeded Maine Maritime Academy on Friday night on the Mariners home court. The NAC Semifinal match is set to start at 6:00 p.m.
