BANGOR, Maine – Hosting Curry College (3-7) for a non-conference match, Husson women's volleyball (1-8) battled back-and-forth swapping points in the opening set before falling behind and continuing to drop all three sets to the Coronels, 3-0.

Curry 3 – Husson 1 (25-19, 25-21, 25-16)

Three Eagles racked up double digits in digs, including Adrienne Beatty with 18 and both Hanna Hembrow and Mary Grace Power grabbed 15 apiece. Hembrow also helped out her team putting up 21 assists in addition to her single block solo and block assist. Power not only contributed on defense, but put up some points offensively smashing four kills along with teammates Kate Woods and Caelyn Sheil. Leading the Eagles in kills were Kayli Doten with six and Serena Laro tallying five of her own.

Finding the floor for a match-high in the kills category, was Lexi Periera for the Coronels with eight while following close behind was Amanda Wood with six. Wood also had success from behind the end line, rifling a pair of service aces over the net. Tallying all, but two assists for Curry was Alexis Bell accumulating 27. In just the first set, Caroline Kilduff used her height to jump up for a single block on her own as well as two block assists.
