Women's Volleyball Drops Non-Conference Match to Colby

BANGOR, Maine - Husson University women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 match to Colby College on Tuesday night in non-conference action inside of Newman Gym.

Paige Hanssen finished with seven kills, six assists, one dig and an ace. Molly Manuel tallied 17 assists, two digs, and one block assist, while Nicole Petherbridge tallied six kills, three digs and five aces and Erin Maidman and Eliabeth Noyes added eight and seven digs respectively for the Mules.

The reigning North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Rookie of the Week, Hannah Hembrow led the Eagles with a match-high 10 digs, 12 assists, five kills and an ace, while teammate Mary Grace Power recorded a team-high six kills and nine digs. Kaitlyn Woods contributed five kills and Riley Mooers added eight digs.

The Eagles return to action on Tuesday, October 11 when they host Maine-Machias for a 6:30 p.m. non-conference game. The Mules host Trinity (Conn.) on Friday night for a 8:00 p.m. NESCAC game.
