Eagles Have Record Setting Comeback Victory Over Bryn Mawr

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - Husson won its third straight match with their comeback victory over Bryn Mawr 3-2 on Friday evening at the Smith Invitational by scores of 20-25, 29-31, 25-20, 25-22 and 15-10.

Lindsay Chapman paced the Husson (5-2) attack registering a match high 20 of the Eagles' 56 kills on the evening, the second most kills Husson has ever record in a single match. Kaitlyn Woods and Hanna Hembrow contributed nine kills, while Hembrow dished out a career-high 35 assists.

On the defensive end, the Eagles were led by Sarah Wilson, Marissa Tautimer and Chapman who each record 24, 22 and 21 digs respectively.  Hembrow and Woods finished with a block.

The Eagles set new single-match team records in attack attempts (199), digs (113) and digs in a five set match.  

Husson returns to action on Saturday when they take on Suffolk at 11:00 a.m. and Massachusetts-Boston at 1:00 p.m. on day two of the Smith Invitational.
