Volleyball Defeats Maine-Machias on the Road

MACHIAS, Maine - Husson won its sixth straight match against Maine-Machias after defeating the Clippers 3-0 on Tuesday evening by scores of 25-13, 25-19 and 25-14.

Bailey Cote paced the Husson attack registering 11 of the teams 39 kills on the evening, with a .769 hitting percentage. Mary Grace Power and Lindsay Chapman contributed ten and nine kills respectively for the Eagles and setter Hanna Hembrow dished out a match-high 32 assists.

On the defensive end, the Eagles were led by Hembrow and Tautimer with five digs apiece, while Nia Arranaga and Delaney Chisholm chipped in with five digs.  Cote led the way for Husson with two solo blocks.

Husson hits the road once again when the Eagles travel to Northampton, Mass. for the Smith Invitational. Roland-Buohl's squad faces Bryn Mawr on Friday at 8:00 p.m.
