    NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Husson University men's outdoor track & field and women's outdoor and indoor track & field programs have been named to the the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) 2016-17 Division III All-Academic Men's and Women's Track & Field teams.

  • Women's Outdoor T&F Sends Six Eagles to Division III New England Championship

    BANGOR, Maine - The Husson women’s outdoor track & field team will be sending six student-athletes down to Williams College in Williamsport, Mass. for the New England Division III Championship. Four seniors; Brooke Hoople, Erin Ellison, Casey Modery and Kerianne Downing along with junior Faith Burnett, will all be returning to the New England DIII Championship to compete after qualifying in different events throughout the 2017 season. Leah Desjardins was the only freshman to qualify for the women this season.

Freshman Eric Hathaway shared Co-Rookie of the Week with Green Mountain while freshman Leah Desjardins also split Co-Rookie of the Week, with Colby-Sawyer. Senior Brooke Hoople earned her fourth Track Athlete of the Week this year.

Jen Jones claimed NAC Pitcher of the Week for the second week in a row, while Brooke Hoople took NAC Track Athlete of the Week and Eric Hathaway Rookie of the Week in outdoor track & field both for the third time this season.

For the women, Jen Jones earned Pitcher of the Week and Brooke Hoople Track Athlete of the Week for their first time this season. For the men, Eric Hathaway walked away with Rookie of the Week for the third time this season.

    BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Husson University women's outdoor track and field team competed at Bowdoin Saturday, scoring 36 points and finishing fourth overall. The field featured high competition from Bowdoin, Middlebury, and the University of Southern Maine, who have some of the best athletes and relays in the nation on their rosters.

    WESTON, Mass. – The Eagles displayed a standout performance down at Regis College on Friday night at the Regis “Under the Lights” Invitational. It was a non-scoring meet; however, this was the first meet of the 2017 season which Husson sent full squads for both men and women to compete. The women’s outdoor track team placed in the top six in 12 different events.
