Husson head coach Chris Wood said of the championship meet, "this was a good finish for our track events and a learning experience for our throwers. We were throwing against better competition than we are used to, and this will help us come back better prepared for the next two meets."

The qualifiers for the Eagles will next compete in the Open New England Championships at Stonehill College in Easton, MA from May 10-12.
