Husson Indoor Track & Field Competes at Bates Invitational

Lewiston, ME - Husson University's women's indoor track & field team competed at the 2013 Bates Invitational over the course of Friday & Saturday.

Junior Diana Kruszewski (Auburn, ME) placed 6th in Friday's Indoor Pentathlon Shot Put, followed by fellow Eagle Lacy Massengale (Warren, ME) who placed 8th.

Paige McNaughton (Randolph, ME) threw a season-best 9.25m in the shot put to finish 6th. Kruszewski also threw her season's best (9.02m) in the shot put to finish in 8th. To round out the throwing events, McNaughton finished 9th in the women's weight throw.

Kristen Lawrence (Manchester, NH) ran well in the 60 meter dash with times of 8.61 & 8.66 seconds. Shauna Randall (Groveton, NH) had a complete effort in the high jump for the first time this year, as the Eagles continue to move forward in their inaugural women's track and field season.

Husson will next compete at the USM Invitational in Portland, ME on January 26, 2013.
