Women's Swimming & Diving Post Numeours Season Bests at Goodrum Invitational

DARTMOUTH, Mass.  – The Husson University women's swimming & diving team competed in the 5th Annual Louise Goodrum Invitational at Tripp Athletic Center on Saturday afternoon, hosted by UMass.-Dartmouth.  The meet was a non-scoring event.

THE RUNDOWN:

  • The quartet of Leslie Donlin, Keeli Wood, Lara Sarett and Gabrielle Peabody combined to post a fourth place finish in the 200-Medley relay with the fastest non-championship time in program history of 2:05.04.
  • Amber Britton, Kassidy Harris, Ashley Clark and Lizzy Small swam together and finished 12th in the 200-Medley relay (2:13.60).
  • Megan Dube made her collegiate debut and finished 16th in the 1650-Free (25:36.90), 37th in the 100-Free (1:12.66) and 19th in the 500-Free (7:25.72).
  • Clark placed ninth in the 200-free (2:17.32), eighth in the 500-Free (6:07.84) and 20th in the 50-Fly (33.00).
  • Peabody was 15th in the 200-Free (2:27.73), 21st in the 100-Free (1:05.95) and tied for 17th in the 50-Free (29.29).
  • Macy Mansir was 20th in the 200-Free (2:39.01), 41st in the 100-Free (1:14.88) and 18th in the 500 Free (7:05.54).
  • Rachael Wheeler finished 21st in the 200-Free (2:39.52), 38th in the 50 Free (32.56) and 35th in the 100-Free (1:12.25).
  • Ashleigh Beaudoin also made her collegiate debut and finished 23rd in the 200-Free (2:47.79), 44th in the 100-Free (1:15.96) and 20th in the 500-Free (7:33.65).
  • Brittany Gaudet placed 25th in the 200-Free (3:00.76), 47th in the 50-Free (36.08) and the 100-Free (1:18.70).
  • Small finished 11th in the 100-Back (1:14.71), 27th in the 100-Free (1:08.43), 29th in the 50-Fly (35.08) and 16th in the 200-IM (2:47.83).
  • Natalie Champagne was 24th in the 100-Back (1:26.67), 46th in the 50 Free (35.73) and 41st in the 50-Fly (42.46).
  • Sarett won the 50-Breast (32.38), the 100-Fly (1:05.30), the 100-Breast (1:11.76) and the 50 Fly (28.96).
  • Wood placed sixth in the 50-Breast (34.93), 10th in the 100-Free (1:02.52) and fifth in the 100-Breast (1:17.80).
  • Harris was 16th in the 50-Breast (37.78), 28th in the 100-Free (1:08.48) and 14th in the 100 Breast (1:23.41).
  • Kelsey Poland finished 27th in the 50-Breast (42.58), 34th in the 50-Free (32.24), 42nd in the 100-Free (1:14.96) and 26th in the 100-Breast (1:35.26).
  • Zoe Mather was 17th in the 100-Fly (1:41.97), 46th in the 100-Free (1:18.70) and 38th in the 50-Fly (40.19).
  • Donlin finished 16th in the 100-Free (1:04.35), 22nd in the 50-Fly (33.71) and tied for 17th in the 50-Free (29.29).
  • Britton was 24th in the 100-Free (1:07.09).
  • Sarett, Donlin, Peabody, and Wood swam together to finish sixth in the 200-Free relay (1:54.32).
  • The quartet of Britton, Harris, Poland and Wheeler finished 13th in the 200-Free relay with a time of 2:06.38.

The Green and Gold return to the pool, this coming Saturday for their home opener, hosting the Monks from Saint Joseph's (Maine) and the University of New England in a tri-meet starting at 12:00 p.m.
