Eagles Take Fourth at GNAC Women's Swimming and Diving Championship

Boston, MA - Husson University women's swimming and diving competed in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference 2014 Championship at Simmons on Saturday and Sunday. The Eagles finished fourth of seven teams with 51.5 points.

The 200 Free Relay Team of Erin Benner (Morrow, OH), Amber Britton (Manchester, NH), Katrina Aman (Lakeville, MA), and Sarah Klopp (Cape Elizabeth, ME) opened the meet with a third place finish. 

Benner's top finish of the day was third in the 100 Yard Back in 1:07.68. She also qualified for the 200 Yard IM Finals and took seventh place, finished sixth in the 200 Back, and finished fifth in the 50 Back. 

Klopp finished fourth in the 50 Fly and took fifth in the 50 Free. In the 100 Yard Fly, Kayleigh Richardson (Kensington, NH) finished sixth overall, and she took fourth in the 200 Fly.

Benner, Aman, Richardson, and Klopp swam for fifth in the 200 Medley Relay

Husson will be back in action on January 17 as they host Rhode Island College.
