Husson University women's lacrosse fell to Keuka College in the NAC Championship game 15-8 at SUNY Morrisville on Saturday. With the loss, Husson ends their season with a 9-8 record and a North Atlantic Conference East Division title.
Keuka scored the game's first three goals before Husson scored three of the next four goals to get within one. Keuka netted the next four goals to go up 8-3 and eventually held a 9-5 advantage at the half.
Husson's Megan Clement led the Eagles with three goals, followed by Stephanie Eaton and Caitlyn Stauffer with two goals apiece. Rookie Maggie Bonafede led the Storm's offense with four goals and a pair of assists.
Sophomore goalie Molly Hogan stopped nine shots in goal while Husson's Kaleigh Morneau had an impressive 18 saves.
