Women's Golf Improves Scores in Second Day of MEIGA Championship

Auburn, Maine - The Husson University women's golf team competed in Day 2 of the 2017 MEIGA Championship at the Martindale Country Club in Auburn, Maine. The Eagles finished the tournament in 3rd place with a total score of 807.

Katie Goulet led the Eagles at the MEIGA Championship with a two-day score of 172 (88-84) and finishing tied for fourth place. Tori Jordan finished in 8th place after shooting a 202 (104-98). Tia welch placed 12th with a score of 214 (109-105). Taylor Burbo finished in 12th place with a score of 219 (113-106) to round out the scoring for The Eagles. 

Bowdoin won the tournament with a two-day total of 637 (315-322), followed by Bates and Husson.

The Eagles will play in the Mount Holyoke (Mass.) Invitational Sept. 24-25 at Orchards Golf Club in South Hadley, Mass.
