Women's Golf Perform Well at the George Phinney Golf Classic

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The Husson University women's golf team competed in the 2016 George Phinney Golf Classic at The Ralph Myhre Golf Course on the campus of Middlebury College over the weekend. The Eagles finished 16th with a total score of 898 (446-452).

Husson was paced by Rachel Vanadestine who shot a two-day total of 208 (104-104) earning a 68th place finish.  Tori Jordan finished tied for 76th with a score of 217 (103-114). Taylor Burbo placed 80th with a 234 (117-117.) Tia Welch shot a 258 (141-117) and finished 84th to round out the scoring for the Eagles.

Williams won the tournament with a two-day total of 629 (315-314), followed by Middlebury with a 631(319-312). Chloe Levins from Middlebury took home the medalist honors with a 150 (74-76).

The Eagles will return to the links in the Spring of 2017.
