BANGOR, Maine - Senior guard Kenzie Worcester was named to the Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Association and New England Women's Basketball Association Honor Roll after several milestones were met this past week.

With 4:56 left to go in the first half against Colby College on Wednesday evening, Worcester drove to the basket for a layup and scored her 1,400th career point as an Eagle. The senior became the third Husson player, and the second fastest, to achieve the 1,400-point milestone. She led the Eagles' fight through two overtimes, before falling behind in the third period of extra minutes. With only 2.8 seconds left in the first overtime, Worcester drove towards the basket, drew a foul, and sunk a pair of free throws to force double overtime. By the end of 48 minutes playing time she had accumulated 29 points, eight boards, six assists, and a steal. Worcester opened conference play with continued success, averaging 17.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.0 steal over the opening weekend. Against NVU-Lyndon, she drained 4-for-4 from the free throw line and tallied 11 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals. She impressed against NVU-Johnson, posting a game-high 24 points as well as seven rebounds and three assists. In all three games combined, the guard averaged 21.3 ppg, shooting 50% from the field (21-42). Against the Mules, Worcester grabbed her 400th career rebound and continued to jump up in the record book against the Badgers as she netted her 300th career free throw to become just the 5th Eagle to do so in program history.
