Steven Johnston Garners Swimming & Diving's First-Ever NEISDA Weekly Accolade

WESTON, Mass. – The New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) weekly honors for week five have been released and freshman Steven Johnston has been honored as the Male Swimmer of the Week, for the first time this season. This also marks the first time in Husson swimming & diving history that a member of either the men's or women's teams has earned a NEISDA weekly honor.

Johnston won the 50 Free with a new school record time of 22.17, the 100 Free in 50.02, and the 100 IM with a new school record time of 58.35 at the 7th Annual Louise Goodrum Invitational. He also took fifth in the 100 Back with a new school record time of 1:00.11.

The Green and Gold return to the pool, this Saturday when they travel to Standish, Maine for a tri-meet with the Monks of Saint Joseph's College of Maine and the Nor'Easters of the University of New England.
