Men's Golf Sits In 30th-Place Following Rain Shortened First Round at NCAA Tournament

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Husson University men's golf team opened play at the 2018 NCAA Division III National Tournament Tuesday but their first round was cut short at the Grandover Resort due to inclement weather in the area.
 
The Eagles, who started the day off on the first hole of the par-72 East Course, currently find themselves 30th at 18-over par through 14 holes.

Guilford College and Emory University currently lead the 72-hole event at five-under par after completing their opening round earlier in the day.

Gavin Dugas and Eric Dugas currently sit in a 64th-place tie at three-over par through 14 and 17 holes, while Daulton Wickenden and Mackenzie Clow are tied for 126th at 6-over par.
 
Taylor Morang currently sits tied for 165th at 8-over par through 15 holes.
 
The Eagles will conclude their first round on the East Course at 8 a.m. before shifting over to the par-72 West Course for a shotgun start of Round 2 at 11 a.m.
