  • Eric Dugas Earns Division III PING All-American Honorable Mention

    NORMAN, Okla. – Husson freshman Eric Dugas has been named to the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Division III PING All-American, the association announced on Wednesday. E. Dugas, named to the Honorable Mention team, becomes the third straight Husson men's golfer selected to the All-American team by the GCAA.

    GREENSBORO, N.C. – Freshman Eric Dugas of the Husson University men's golf team competed in the third round of the 2018 NCAA Division III Championships on Friday. Dugas finished tied for 12th in a field of 217 golfers at the four-round event held at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Dugas continued play in the championship after qualifying as one of six individuals not on the 18 top teams that made the cut following two rounds of play.

    NORMAN, Okla. – Division III PING All-Region honorees have been announced by the GCAA. A total of 100 players across six regions - Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Great Lakes, Central and West - earned all-region honors for 2018. Mackenzie Clow, Gavin Dugas, and Daulton Wickenden were all named to the Northeast All-Region Team.

    GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Husson men's golf team competed in the second round of the 2018 NCAA Division III Championship on Wednesday and carded a 301 after finishing their first round play early Wednesday morning with a 307. The Eagles then went on to played the par-72, 6780-yard West Course at the Grandover Resort and finished tied for 19th with a 608 (307-301), missing the team cut by one stroke, resulting in the program's best team finish at a National Championship in 16 years.

The Eagles received an automatic bid to the national tournament after claiming the 2018 NAC Championship Title.

    CRANSTON, R.I. – After finishing day one in second place at the Wildcat Spring Invitational, the Husson men’s golf team shot an impressive team score of 293 on day two to jump up to first place and win the invite at Cranston Country Club. The Eagles destroyed all competition on day two, finishing 13 strokes ahead of the second best team score in the entire invite while competing against 18 other schools.

    CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. – Jumping up to second place after two rounds at the 47th Annual Marine Federal Credit Union Championship, the Husson men’s golf team held a cumulative score of 605, just three strokes behind Surry Community College. Unfortunately, the final day of competition was cancelled due to a rainstorm so the Eagles had to return home a day early.
  • Men's Golf Leaves Florida with a Spring Break Victory

    LAKE SUZY, Fla. – The Husson men’s golf team opened up their spring season under the hot sun in Florida at the Kingsway Country Club for the Husson Spring Invitational. The Eagles faced St. Joseph’s College (Maine) with match play scoring and took home the win with four Eagles coming out on top. Six student-athletes competed for each team on Tuesday.

    DANBURY, Conn. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced the recipients of the 2017 Fall Academic Honor Rolls today. Husson University had 53 student-athletes named to the team, while a total of 1,857 student-athletes from across the ECAC membership made the list.
