Husson Men's Basketball Falters at Chapman

 

ORANGE, CALIFORNIA- Husson men's basketball narrowly loses by a score of 65-73 at Chapman on Friday December 30.

 

While the Husson Eagles put up a valiant effort, an early lead by Chapman proved too much to overcome.

 

At the half, Husson trailed 29-36. With a string of successful free throw attempts by Chapman in the second half, the Eagles never gained the upper hand.

 

While Husson out rebounded Chapman 34-31, the Eagles lost the turnover battle 17 to Chapman's 15, and assists, 8 to Chapman's 15.  Chapman scored 22 points off turnovers as compared to Husson scoring 11 off Chapman miscues.

 

Senior Raheem Anderson led the scoring efforts for Husson with 19 points, with Zach Curran, Mitch Worcester and Justin Martin all recorded 10 points each.
