BANGOR, Maine - The Husson University field hockey team received another commitment for the 2018 season. Brenna Myles, a center midfielder from Gould Academy in Bethel, Maine, has announced her commitment to the Husson University field hockey program.
Brenna, a member of the varsity program at Gould Academy, tallied 11 goals, three assists, and two defensive saves in her final two high school seasons. She was named to the all-conference team three consecutive years, while serving as team captain as a junior and senior. Brenna will be entering the health studies program at Husson University.
Kelly Hood, Brenna's high school coach said, "As a center midfielder, her job is to do everything and more. Brenna handles this position with confidence, poise, and fierce competitive instincts. She gives more than what is asked of her in every second of every game. For the past two years, she was our go-to on attacking corners. Moreover, she was a constant in the middle of the field, keeping control of the game in her own quiet but tenacious way. Not only did Brenna play to the best of her ability in every game, she brought this level of intensity to every drill in practice."
The Eagles will look to repeat their historical 2017 season and keep the national spotlight on Bangor, Maine.
