Husson received goals from Lauren Russell and Alli Bourget in the second half.
With just under three minutes left in the game, Emilia Battista (Springfield, Vt.) fed a pass through the middle to Kayla Donahue (Natick, Mass.) at the left post, who tabbed it in to break up Husson's shutout.

Husson's Anne-Marie Provencal earned the start and made three saves in just over 56 minutes of action before being relieved by Andrea Shaggy, who did not record a save. NEC keeper Michaela Clark (Dorchester, Mass.) tallied seven saves in the complete-game effort for NEC.
Husson will travel to Thomas on Saturday, September 30, for a 1:00 pm NAC game.
