    WATERVILLE, Maine - Husson senior Whitney Arno (Dover-Foxcroft, Maine) was tabbed Defensive Player of the Year while UMaine-Farmington junior Emmah Spahr (Winthrop, Maine) has been selected as the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) East Division Field Hockey Player of the Year. Colby-Sawyer freshman Alie Jones (Cape Neddick, Maine) earned Rookie of the Year honors, UMaine-Farmington senior Patty Smith (Gorham, Maine) was voted as the Senior Scholar Athlete of the Year, the Beavers head coach, Cyndi Pratt, was chosen as the Coach of the Year and six field hockey student-athletes were selected to the Sportsmanship Team to headline the 2016 All-Conference announcement.
