BANGOR, Maine - The 2019 Husson University football schedule has been finalized. The Eagles are set to play ten contests, with four first-time opponents and six previously played opponents this season.
The five-time Eastern Collegiate Football Conference Champions will kick off their first season under the Commonwealth Coast Football (CCF) umbrella on the road at UMass Dartmouth on September 14th. This game will mark the first match-up versus Corsairs in program history.
The Eagles' home opener is scheduled for September 21st against Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). The Engineers will make their first trip to Winkin Sports Complex for just the second matchup between the two schools on the gridiron and the first since the 2004 season.
Husson will then hit the road before they open up the first ever CCF schedule, when they make their longest trip of the 2019 regular season to SUNY Morrisville. Kickoff is scheduled for September 28th at 12:00 p.m.
The 2019 CCF opener takes place on October 5th, when Husson renews their rivalry with Becker College in Leicester, Mass.
The green and gold will then enjoy a three-game homestand with CFF opponents who will be making their first trips to the Wink. The homestand will begin with Curry College (Oct. 12th), before the Nor'Easters of the University of New England invade Bangor, Maine on Homecoming (Oct. 19th), while closing out the homestand with Endicott College (Oct. 26).
Husson will then hit the road once again and play Nichols College for the first time in program history (Nov. 2nd).
