BANGOR, Maine - Capping off one of his more successful seasons, Husson football senior Robenson Saintard has been selected to the College Gridiron Showcase roster.
Saintard was placed on the All-Star Offense roster. The first team All-ECFC selection will get to show off his skills Jan. 6-10 in Addison, Texas. The CGS is a postseason showcase for NFL Draft eligible players that are selected from a panel of football experts. A series of seminars, evaluations and more will cover the five day event.
The Husson wide receiver put up a career highs with 370 receiving yards and 294 rushing yards in his final season with the Eagles. He hauled in one touchdown, rushed for four touchdowns, and set a season long with an 44-yard catch against SUNY Maritime. He averaged 30.8 yards a game and 13.2 per catch. Saintard started in all 12 games for Husson this year.
The showcase features a controlled scrimmage in front of NFL and talent scouts, giving every player their best chance to display their skills.
