  • Jones, Hoople, and Hathaway Earn NAC Weekly Awards

    WATERVILLE, Maine. - Husson had the honor of three athletes achieving North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Weekly Awards this past week. Jen Jones claimed NAC Pitcher of the Week for the second week in a row, while Brooke Hoople took NAC Track Athlete of the Week and Eric Hathaway Rookie of the Week in outdoor track & field both for the third time this season.

    DANBURY, Conn. - Women and men's outdoor track & field along with softball all picked up an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) New England Weekly Honor this past week. For the women, Jen Jones earned Pitcher of the Week and Brooke Hoople Track Athlete of the Week for their first time this season. For the men, Eric Hathaway walked away with Rookie of the Week for the third time this season.

    DANBURY, Conn. - Two more Husson athletes have been awarded with weekly honors by the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC). Freshman Jen Jones achieved ECAC New England Rookie of the Week for softball while freshman Leah Desjardins also earned ECAC New England Rookie of the Week for women's outdoor track & field.

Two baseball players and one softball player received weekly award recognition from the NAC for their outstanding performances for Husson last week.

    BANGOR, Maine - The men's and women's lacrosse games against Johnson State previously scheduled on March 18th at home, have been rescheduled to March 28th. The men will kick off the day with a match at 1:15pm followed by the women at 4pm.

    Bangor, Maine - The Maine Basketball Hall of Fame has announced that current Head Women’s Basketball Coach, Mary “Kissy” Walker, Robert “Bob” C. Cimbollek ’59 and Richard “Dick” L. Giroux ‘70 has been selected as part of its 2017 induction class. They are three of 27 inductees announced Wednesday morning.
