Hoyt named Head Cheer and Dance Coach

Bangor, ME – The Husson University Department of Athletics announces the appointment of Hillary Hoyt as its Head Cheer and Dance Coach.

Hoyt served as the interim Dance coach this past year. She is a 2013 graduate of the University of Maine where she was captain of the dance team and co-captain of the UMaine Tap Club. She is currently a 3rd grade teacher at LeRoy H. Smith School in Winterport, Maine.

“We are delighted to have Hillary take over our cheer and dance squads,” said Husson Director of Athletics Frank Pergolizzi. “She did an outstanding job as interim coach and we fully expect her to pick up right where she left off”

“I am very thrilled to take on this role of Head Cheer and Dance Coach here at Husson University,” said Hillary Hoyt. “This is an amazing group of student athletes which I have been so lucky to work with for the past two years and I can’t wait to see where this next year take us!”
